One thing you need to know about Nichole is she can cook. She can cook anything and she rarely follows a recipe. She uses what she has on hand and doesn't waste a thing. She makes interesting food combinations intuitively adding seasoning and spice. She knows how to let things simmer. She doesn’t rush. And even though everyone loves her food, she critiques her own results like a judge at the fair, with an impartial and honest palette. Nichole has her eye on the purple ribbon and she does not give it to herself for free.    

 

Nichole’s grandmother, Marion, was an award winning baker

and Nichole remembers her boxes full of ribbons won at the

Jackson County Fair. Marion cleaned up with her flawless cookies,

cakes and other baked goods winning many a champion purple

ribbon. Her standard for excellence was only exceeded by her

love for baking. This combination of love and attention to detail

made her a champion year after year.  

 

Nichole approaches everything in her life that same way. In the graphic design and colorizations of the LYT women she always starts from scratch with an eye for every detail. She intuitively puts colors and patterns together and she knows when something needs space around it. She doesn’t rush her process, she will sit with it until it’s right and she critiques it like a judge at the fair.  

 

At home, Nichole enjoys listening to rockstar husband Peter play guitar, lets Hugo the Great Dane and Georgie the French Bulldog in and out of the house a thousand times a day and answers the phone when any one of the three kids call, no matter what else is going on. And like Marion, she looks good doing it.
